What Drugstore Acne Products Should I Buy?

I have acne all over my face. On my cheeks it seems red but I break out most on my forehead and on the side of my face. its hereditary acne, my dad had acne problems when he was a teen, so I cant take medicine to get rid of the bacteria (ive tried already)
what products and brand should i try?
ive heard neutrogena stress control cream cleanser with glycolic acid is best. thoughts??

understand. I inherited acne from my father, too. It was horrible. I tried Clearasil and the benzoyl peroxide tore my face up and made the acne worse. I did go to a dermatologist and that is what finally did it. I know you said you were on doxycycline, but there are other prescriptions as well. I would have to change every 6 months as my body became used to the medication. There is tetracycline, minocycline, and others. It was the minocycline that took me from horrible cysts on my face, chest and shoulders to absolutely CLEAR in about a month. I mean, not one pimple anywhere. It was a miracle. I would suggest going back to the dermatologist and trying something different. It won’t happen overnight, but if you stick with it you will find the right one for you and it will make a huge difference in your life. Honest!
