TUTORIAL: Summer Foundation Routine for Acne/ Blemishes & Redness
+++++++++++++++ READ ME +++++++++++++++ Hey guys! So I’m back for a foundation routine great for those with individuals who are currently breaking out & if blemishes are still in the process of healing. When I’m breaking out & my skin is in the healing process, I do not want to slather on MORE product to cover it and hide it. However, I do want to AT LEAST even out my skin tone & lighten some of the blemishes. So I usually go for a very light medium coverage routine. This is a great routine for my combination skin & dry skin. For those with oily skin, you might get a bit oily because of the tinted moisturizer but that is what blot powder is for

@qweaz987 theres heaps of dupes. lol rimmel stay matte and maybelline dream matte powders are the best i think
same problem here! ive been using dr.denese sfp30 day cream is tinted so it hides and blends well! gota try that blot powder, i just use elf translucent mattyfing powder, works good too! thanks love your vids!
what cleanser are you using?
the reason i ask is because i can tell like you said you
have a little problem with breakouts..try cliniques acne solutions 3 step that should help and also they’re superfit foundation it’s oil free and it wicks away oil and perspiration its not to heavy you only apply it on the most needed areas then i would apply a concealer on top just to help blend it and apply a powder lightly..i work for clinique and just wanted to help out..&hopefully it helps !
i love this video, just like all your others! you are one of my favorite gurus out of the like, million i subscribe to!
now im thinking about trying the boots no 7 tinted moisturizer because
i was using the maybelline pure foundation like you and its..ok i guess.
keep up the good work girl! <3
@margaritagabrielle hey girlie!!! thank you for such a nice comment! you are too nice! I know what you mean. I did like using the maybelline pure make up but lately i feel like its been settling into my pores and emphasizing my dry patches so i switched to an actual tinted moisturizer.
@MissNazal that’s awesome! i havent tried any e.l.f powders but i think i will!
thanks for you input!!!!
@KiraShimMers1 thanks girlie!!!!!
@tayyxbby You know many fellow youtubers have suggested for me to try it, but i’ve been very scared to because i’ve heard very mix opinions. Some love it and some absolutely hate it. My skin breaks out very easily so i’m not sure if i’ve ever cave and try it. Maybe when i get desperate haha.
thanks you for all your information! Its so awesome that u work at clinique! discounts and so much more!!!! Now i know who to ask regarding clinique products because i’ve been really getting into this brand.
i know you’re hesitant to switch up products, but i recently did and i have not had an inflamed pimple in a couple of months. my skin has gotten to be completely smooth, just with some after marks. i use kate sommerville detox cleanser, and erno laszlo’s sea mud bar. you should look into trying samples of them if you’re feeling like changing it up, it might help!!
thanks for your videos!! :]
I have this tinted moisturizer too! I need a good concealer though, any suggestions (drugstore)? I’m thinking of trying that one you used and maybe the Maybelline Dream Mouse one. Great video!
The video is very helpful.
Could you tell me the name of that song?
do you think its any of the new products or products that u are suing that is breaking you out or is it just for no reason? and just some advice =)its probably not good to put the mineral power concealer right on ur face because it spreads bacteria and could cause more future breakouts =) anyways u are SUPER pretty and ur skin really isnt bad at all =)
@tessa123451 I havent been trying any of the new products I’ve purchased yet other than the tinted moisturizer. But i was breaking out before that. I’m still using the same things even when my skin was in better condition.
Yeah i totally agree with you. It definitely isnt a good idea that i apply straight to my face with the wand. Now i feel like dumping alcohol in my concealer haha.
thanks for all your suggests girls! the concealer wand thing is something I am going to keep in mind!
@PeachyPink0614 lol about the alcohol =P but np=) thanks for replying and subscribing=) i was like OMG OMG she subbed to me =P it means a lot cause u are one of my fav gurus on youtube =) <3

@PeachyPink0614 aww your too sweet =) and YES for sure keep in touch =) send me a message now and then and i will do the same =) u seem like a really nice person=) we could be youtube friends =) <3
hey girl! i would not recommend you changing anything with your skincare. maybe the cleanser (switching to a super gentle cleanser), but since you’re using a topical acne medication (i think i remember you mentioning this), i would say that you shouldn’t try a three-step system or anything, because they’re packed with acne medication that could irritate and dry out your skin like crazy (i.e. Clinique’s 3-Step). you have to give time to the medication, or have you been on it for long?
