A comparison of three methods of acne medications. proactiv, OXY, and prescription. Basically, OXY (or over the counter) works just as well as proactive, and costs 1/10 the price.

Proactive will kill your skin. It’s not a long term product, I recommend to stop using it, do any alternative. It will make your skin look old younger.

Pro Active made my skin worse. The Oxy pads are bullshit. All the over the counter stuff is not made for the people who need it most. Some people can’t afford a dermatologist and all the expensive prescription creams. The girls on the video didn’t even have bad acne so they were bad candidates. They need to put an over the counter product out there for the ones who don’t have insurance. But of course it’s always about the pharmaceutical companies making money.
That’s how they make their money. Your skin begins to grow a dependency on them due to the chemicals in acne products. Plus, it inhibits your skin’s natural defense system to combat acne. What people need to do is stop using products all together and use warm-hot water instead. Then allow your body to shed a new layer of undamaged skin no picking no touching. It’s that simple! ^^-d
proactiv did absolutely nothing for me. oxy is fantastic and i use the 10% benzoyl peroxide every day for my moderate acne. i’d recommend it to anyone!

I agree with this. A combination treatment of doxycycline and a retinoid prep tazorac (tazarotene)at night and a clindamycin/benzo prep cream in the morning like worked wonders for me..you guys should really see your dermatologist esp if you have cystic acne. the patients in the video are bad examples..
exactly man, after taking it I get hardly any acne anymore
Has anyone else tried the oxy pads,wash and lotion? I want to but I;m kind of iffy about it because I normally use a cream. I’ve just been using acne cream before I go to be for 5 years and it seems like after a couple months ago it just stopped working, especially on my cheeks.
So this “show” is one big commertial for already over commertialised products.
I wonder how much money did the show make to exibit this crap.
acne medication is the biggest scam. I hate it. They make the washes dry out your skin and not work so that you have to buy the moisturizers and all that shit. and then those dont work
Prescription of Clindamycin costs under $20 for the generic…It’s the only thing that works. I’ve tried everything!

none of these work they were really iritatting what i did was completly change my diet drink lots of water couple bottles a day and use regualr dove soap, and in 2 weeks my face was as clear as its ever been.

i tried so many products over the years, and none of them truly worked. clean and clear, oxy pads (very bad)… but about a month ago i began using the Nivea for Men face wash (sensitive) and it has imrpoved my skin so much. i also use the nivea after shave and my skin is so clear and smooth. i had TERRIBLE acne.
Neither of those girls even had acne, their skin looked perfect before hand. Anyone who truly suffers from acne knows that. Roaccutane helps 100%

the only reason you guys get acne is because you probably don’t have sex as often as you should, that’s why i had acne when i was 16.
