You don’t have to ask. There’s some sort of Pharmacy (forget the name) that will prescribe it to you without telling your parents.

plan B: Mom, If you don’t give me birth control, you’ll soon have a grandson!

I would just mention, how irregular or painful your periods are, then maybe get her to suggest a few ideas of things that could help, and if she brings birth control up, you can talk about it

Tell your mom the truth about why you want it.
Also, I never had to ask because our Planned Parenthood gives it free when you go to the clinic and ask for it.

Well, i never really asked for it…my parents found out i was sexually active so my mom just got the pill and placed it on my drawer and she was kinda mad, so she had a talk with me and my brothers about using protection and all that =/

I actually didn’t ask. Mine got so bad one summer to where I bled for 19 days. I was never regular and was very anemic. My dad took me to a doctor and she recommend them.
Adjusting to them is no walk in the park. You may feel nausea, vomit, headaches, and risk getting UTI.
Just tell her I am sure she will understand.

I asked my mom for that same reason.. She didn’t get mad or anything she just said no. If your parents say no you could always go to a planned parenthood, or a local clinic. They can usually help you out with that kind of thing. But if they do say no make sure you ask them why. It might not be because they don’t believe you or anything. BC can have negative effects. just make sure you do your research before you start taking anything.

Mum can we talk (sits down starts to talk) I just really want to ask you this you see my periods are very heavy (or what ever is wrong with them) and i was woundring would the pill help to control them?? cause i was reading it some where b4 but i wasnt quite sure do you think it could help mum as i really need to sort ma periods out!
Dont forget mums where ur age once upon a time ago lol so she will probley understand where ur coming from

Are your periods unusually painful? If so, just start out by mentioning how debilitating they are, then bring up the option of birth control.
I find a great way to ask anyone for anything is to first ask for their opinion. For example, instead of using phrases like “Can I..” or “I want…” try “How would you feel about…” or “I’d like to know what you think about…”.
However, if your periods really aren’t too bad and you don’t need a controceptive, I do not recommend birth control. When I stopped taking my BC (which everyone has to do sometime) I had my period for over a month straight! SO NOT WORTH IT!!!
