you don’t have to be a teen to answer this question. but yes! it really does work. at least for me, everyone’s skin is different. but yes it does work great. there are some drawbacks to it, like the smell of some of the products and my face gets red after i apply the toner. but other than that, it is really the only skin care line that i used and it was succesful.
i dont know about the proactve stuff but drink lotsss of water avoid oily fodd and most importantly wash ur face as many times u can throughout the day
it really helps
I have the same problem, and i tried proactiv for like 3 months and it did nothing, it might’ve even made it worse cause it made my skin dry. See a dermatologist and she’ll give you exactly what you need, and your skin will be clear in a couple of weeks. Good luck!
I had bad acne, and I used EVERYTHING under the sun. I went to a dermatologist and I asked her about Proactiv. She told me that Proactiv might work and might not. She told me that if it DOES work, it will only work for around a year. Your skin will become so used to it, that it will just stop taking it and you will have the same acne. She put me on a pill called Tetracycline and gave me a cream called Differin. It worked wonders. My skin cleared in two weeks. I have been on it for about half a year now and my skin still looks awesome. I understand if you are not willing to take pills, but in the end, over Proactiv, its worth it. Good luck hun!
lol I know I’m a guy! It works buts its no better than normal face washes or Acne Free which is the same thing but the generic stuff you can find in Walmart! the prob is it takes so long to complete the system
Wash your face
Towel
Apply toner
Apply cream
honestly if you want my opinion go to the dermatologist they will give you an antibiotic pill for acne and it works wonders if you can it stops your body from making it!! but bye prescription
well to be honest. NO ONE CAN ANSWER THAT QUESTION FOR U! proactiv has been successful for me and thousands of other people. but! there are some unfortunate ones in the lot whose skin type didnt benefit from it,. but u never know if u will be like that. i suggest u try for your self. do it properly . and see if it works. it worked miracles for me. in about a week my skin was getting cleaner. the trick is. dont stop your routine. u can tone down to once a day routine but dont stop altogether. get a new package before the other one finishes.
i say u have nothing to lose!! (except your acne =D)
I am not a teen but when I was I used Mary Kay Velocity 2 step system…more affordable and absolutley awesome! Goodluck however you go about it! acne can be tough!
I have heard it does, but why waste your money? Try toothpaste.
I am a teen girl who has also struggled with acne. I have found that even though medicines do help, all I really needed to do was wash my face LOTS, hot water to open pores up, then cold water to close them. If the acne is too stubborn and won’t go away (which it does mostly with me) dab a small amount of toothpaste on the zit at night and wash it off in the morning. The zit sometimes will come right off, and if not, it will at least shrink! Make sure afterwards you put some face lotion to prevent peeling or irritation. Hope I helped!
Before you start messing around with products, I would suggest visiting a dermatologist. He or she will probably give you a topical or oral med. to treat the acne. OTC stuff, don’t use, there’s lots of stuff in it.
i get a face mask from Lush, its all organic, and is made for teen skin and for spots, its really good… and it smells like chocolate lol.

proactive does work-
but so does a product called “AcneFree”
