ok, im a teen, and ive had problems with acne since i was 12. so i went to my dr, and she prescribed DuAc, and that worked well for a year, but since they’re antibiotics, your body gets immune to them. So they stopped working. i went back to the dr, and she prescribed Differin. i thought this would work, but its been a month and my skin has gotten a million times worse. i HATE having acne, its really really really gross to me and i feel very ugly. so, what system has worked for your acne? i’m thinking of asking my mom to order ClearPores, but i dont know if it will be another failed system. i DO NOT want accutane, so thats not an option either.
oh, and ive tried a bunch of over-the-counter creams and whatnot in between these treatments, NONE of them work.

I’m a teen with acne prone skin. My skin isn’t oily, it’s more on the dry side rather, but I still have bad breakouts and I’m looking for a foundation that can cover them REALLY well until I wash it off. Currently I use Maybelline Wonder Finish in Porcelain. It’ll stay put for about an hour, but after that it gets clumpy and my breakouts are visible.
help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks. :]

I’m a 33 yr old white female who has never had much acne in my life (even as a teen) but for some reason over the last two weeks I’ve broken out all over my face. I tried using the neutrogena acne products but it doesn’t seem to be going away. Has anyone else had this happen to you? If so, what did you do to get it to clear up?

I am 27, never had acne or pimples as a teen and as I am getting older I am getting more and more breakouts. But it isnt on my face its on my neck, shoulders, and chest, occassionally my cheeks or chin but not often. My skin is sensitive, I find that noxema and clearsil, and clean and clear all worsen the breakouts. Any suggestions on something that isnt based towards teens or that could be for sensitive skin, please and thanks?

Although I think I have nice features, I have like “pitted skin” around the sides of my face from cystic acne in my teens. I have felt all my life inferior about it. I have only had one man in my life tell me I was pretty, and that was when I was 17, before it all started. One night at a bar I picked up a guy that had really, really bad acne scars and we went to a restaurant and had a good time, but when it came back to taking me home and trying to put moves on me, I was so repulsed. He was really nice and kind to me, but I just couldn’t deal with his face. He had deeply pitted skin and it just turned me off. Why did I feel this way? I also that I’ve been rejected by men because I do have obvious scars from it. Opinions or advice appreciated.

I am now an 18 year old male. I first took accutane about a year ago for about 6 months when I had acne ranging from mild to medium-severe, and it had fantastic results. After i stopped taking it acne was not even an issue anymore. Then after about 5 months the acne slowly but surely started coming back. Now I am on it again and it is woking but taking a little longer than the quick results the first time. I was and am now taking 1 pill a day (40) mg i believe.
My questions are:
1. Is me taking accutane ruining my bodies natural way of dealing with acne? My brother had some mild acne issues in his teen years but his body naturally took care of it. Should I just wait out the embarrasing acne rather than taking accutane. Can accutane actually delay the acne stage for later years?
2. Are my symptoms/accutane history average for accutane users, and what can I expect for results?
3. Will accutane ever permanently rid my face of acne?
Thank you for your time reading my question.

I’m a teen and have VERY bad acne. I’ve tried a lot of creams but nothing works, now I’ve found out Yogurt may help my skin. So do I use it on my face or just eat it? Does it even work?!
Thanks

My face is so dry that it is chapped on the chin and the area under my eyes near the nose. I am looking for a good moisturizing product to use. However, I also have mild acne, so I was wondering if there are any moisturizing products out there that will take care of the dryness as well as the acne, and if so, where can I buy it. I heard that Cetaphil is a good moisturizer, but does it do anything for acne?
Any suggestions appreciated!

I’m currently using Dial antibacterial soap and Neutrogena stress-control acne body wash… And I moisturize with Johnson’s Shea and Cocoa Butter baby lotion..
I also take fish oil, minocyline, and One A Day Teen Vitamin for her.
Do you think this will work?
How long do you think it will take?
Any tips on how to stop picking, IM ADICTED! =O

The only part that gets extremely oily is my nose and there’s acne all over it and it hurts really bad when you touch it. Is it normal? I use acne-removal and anti-bacterial facial wash products day and night. Are products with SPF advisable when i go out?
