I’m 22 years old and I’m recovering from very bad acne I had as a teen. For the first time in as long as I can remember I’m feeling good about my skin and want to experiment with makeup. I’ve heard primer makes your skin look better and your makeup will last much longer. I have oily skin so having makeup look good for more than a couple of hours has always been a challenge. However, I’m concerned using primer will clog my pores and make my skin suffer from breakouts. I’ve only been using mineral powder and a bit of blush on my skin. Should I start using primer?

I am 16 years old and i have suffered from acne my entire teen life. I have an abundant amount of scarring on my back because of acne. I havent had any surgery or any broken bones. I could pass everything else but the scar part…will i be ok???

Many teens suffer from acne. They struggle with finding the right solution to get rid of it. Did you ever think about these things that your doing might be the biggest influence of your skin troubles.
When you clease your skin you use your fingers to apply the cleanser. Even if you wash your hands beforeso there is still left over oil in your fingers that you push or massage into your face. (Use a new toothbruth to scrub gently or maybe even cotton pads).

I suffered from horrible acne as a teen on my shoulders. Now I want to get a heart with “mom” in it on my right shoulder, but I’m afraid it won’t look right because of the acne scars. What do you think?

Well acne has pretty much ruined my life. Started when I was 11, now I’m 22. I think I’ve tried every cure, been to several dermatologists, even let it be for a while hoping it would gradually disappear someday. Most treatments do work but it won’t be long until it’s back again. I have pimples all over my face and blackheads on my nose. As a teen I even had acne on my chest, back and arms. I’m super oily and sweat a lot. I’m actually pretty, but every time I see myself I feel like I want to die.

I already know that anti-acne pills exist, but do any of them work? What about supplements for skin health, do any of them improve acne?

i started 11 days ago and im only on accutane for 3 months. will i probably see my acne on my back clear up on about a month? and some are scars too, will that also clear up?

Hi, I am thirteen, and obviously my hormones are now at their highesst, so I get zits… Like most teens…
So, I have tried Physicians Formula, and Maybelline Mineral Power, and Neutrogena, but NOTHING seems to WORK or STAY ON (!!!!!!!!)
I know that I need some type or kind of mineral stuff, and by the way, I am on a budget, so like don’t say to buy a foundation thats like thirty bucks..

I am a teen who plays sports and has blackheads with some almost pimples

I have mild acne but I want it cleared up very badly. Would these be safe meals for 1 day:
Breakfast : Organic oatmeal and glass of water
Lunch: Garden Salad w/ balsamic vinigrette dressing
Snack: Blended organic strawberries, blueberries and banana
Dinner: Peanut butter and jelly sandwich if nobody is home
or Organic Tilapia fillet with vegetables
I want my acne to clear up and eat safe but still enjoy food help please.

I have acne on my sholders and back, and its gotten worse from all the extra oil from that nice “pregnant glow”. I am worried that it will interfere with getting an epidural. Does anyone know the answer/ had the same problem?

I have some old acne scars on my face and I need to know a good makeup that will cover them. I currently use CoverGirl but its like a liquid/powder in a compact thingy. It makes my skin look really oily. I don’t like it.
Can someone tell me a different makeup to try that will cover scars really well and not make my skin look oily?
