Hi there, i actually have mild to medium acne prone skin which is extremely oily at times. Have always wanted to use a foundation as i have never used it but i’m unsure what type of foundation is best for my skin. Want something would not irritate the acne to much and doesn’t look almost like it’s been caked onto my skin. Any help would be great?

I am going to planned parenthood tomorrow to get on birth control. I am looking for the added advantage of knocking out my acne. I am getting married in November though, so I’m obviously worried about weight gain. Which pill are you on and what were the side effects in terms of acne and weight gain?

Lotion or facial scrub?
I’ve tried all kinds of lotion; dry skin, cocoa butter, aloe, etc
but its not working as well as i like it, does lotion even help for eliminating acne?
What about facial scrubs, do those work better? I’m a dark skinned 19 year old guy and I heard how some scrubs can leave bleachy stains on your skin, which i dont want.
What should i do?

Baking soda and water mask:
For this mask you mix together baking soda (not baking powder) and water to form a paste. Slather over skin and let sit for 15 minutes then wash away. Repeat this a few times a week
Salt mask:
You need sea salt or cooking salt and some water. You put the salt in the water for 20 minutes then apply the mask to acne spots and leave it on for 10-30 minutes. Salt cleans the skin and dries acne spots
Yogurt mask:
Take one teaspoon of honey and heat it up a little so it becomes softer (if you have dry skin ad additional teaspoon of honey for better effect). Then mix the honey with one tablespoon of natural yogurt which is medium fat (do not use low or non-fat yogurt). Mix the ingredients at room temperature for a while. When it is prepared apply it to acne spots that you wish to treat. Leave it on 10-20 minutes and then was it off with washcloth.
Which one works best for oyu? i have a couple in teh middle of my eyebrows adn on the top of my forhead. i cleanse, toner, and use moisturizer already so yeah.

My skin is relatively sensitive to certain products. I have used the Neutrogena Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask, and although it works, it makes my face red. I don’t have a problem with benzoyl peroxide cleansers making my face red, or menthol cleansers making it red, but the combination does make it red/burned. I’ve decided that I may as well try a kit because I never have used one (I used Proactiv inconsistently, so I really don’t count that)
I believe my acne is moderate. I get blackheads, whiteheads, papules, and pustules. I haven’t had any cysts/nodules. My skin does get red easily, but I suppose if I use the right products then the redness will eventually go away and my acne will fade. Anyway, they have four kits. i use this it worked very well i have very little acne now(i had it on my chest and back too.) one good thing to do is dont pick at your back i did that and it got worse then i stoped and it cleared up so try your hardest not to do that

Now I dont have bad acne or anything, I really dont have any acne actually. I do get pimples and zits yes, but not really acne. My cheeks are naturally very red tho, I don’t know if thats rosacea or herditary or what..? Anyways, we’ve all seen tons of ads for all these different Acne Systems, but does anyone have any personal experiences or products that will forsure work? I have been struggling for years with tough acne that are sometimes the big red inflamed ones, which hurt, and the other small red ones on my forehead, chin, cheeks and nose. I have gone to the Dermotologist many times and have been on many pills, and topical medicines that have not been helpful to me. I cannot be on antibiotics because I have asthma, and it will trigger it. Help, I am fed up with my acne!

i have had acne rosacea for about 3 years and nothing i do helps :$ i have seen a docter and he gave me some liquid in a bottle and it really hasnt done anything… does anyone have any ideas on how to treat it or make it better and is there any other people with the same problem any suggestions welcome.
