I’ve had acne scars on my forehead for years and I feel like there is just no way I can get rid of them. I’ve heard that using 100% Aloe Vera gel on scars can really make them disappear. Can anyone justify this? Or does anyone have any other options?

Neutrogena facial moisturizer, with the SPF built in. I’ve been using it since high school.

Rimmel Lasting finish is a great foundation for all ages. This is way cheaper than Sheer Cover or Bare Minerals and gives better coverage. I rely on this everyday to give me perfect skin and I love it. I love it because it covers great, is light weight, looks freshly applied all day, doesn`t transfer on to clothes, and is very blendable. It is an exact match to my skin tone! Covergirl and Neutrogena had really fakey colors when I bought them a couple of months back and were too liquidy. This is your best bet! The price is $6.50 at Wal-Mart and maybe a little more at drugstores. Highly recommended! Great price for a great product!

I have mild acne and I’ve had it for 6 years so far; I’ve tried many acne cleansers but none of them work. I also have really bad acne scars and I don’t know how to get rid of them.
Help?

Now that my skin is clearing up, I seem to have the acne marks left behind. It’s very annoying to see those dark spots. Any at home remedies would be helpful. Thank you!

Hello.
I broke out real bad in July (I quit Proactiv that whole month) and now I’ve got little red marks. (I wouldn’t really call them scars; they’re more like post-acne marks.)
Anyway, I was given BenzaClin to help it clear. It made it worse in two weeks. However, my thirteen-year-old sister now only has a breakout on her chin (and some blackheads), and skin as smooth as a baby’s derrière everywhere else. So her skin’s getting close to perfect.
Well, Proactiv cleared me up. I guess stopping was a mistake. Though, I started back using it August 6th, and I see some improvement. I now know that I either have rosacea or lupus, since my nose and cheeks are always sort of flushed. I felt Proactiv made it worse. Boy, was I wrong.
Anyway, I was given Differin to use at nighttime to help out. I’ve got so many red marks compared to so little acne. There mostly on my forehead, but there’s a few on each side of my chin.
Well, I just wanted to know about other’s experiences with these products. My skin will get back to normal, even if it takes a year. (I’m staying positive.) Proactiv made my skin great within two-three months, before I stopped it. What about you guys and girls out there?

I want my skin to clear up before high school starts in two weeks. I have mild acne, and my skin is gets really oily. Right now, I’m using the new neutogena pink grapefruit cleanser, the nuetrogena acne stress control toner, and a 2.5% benzoyl peroxide spot treatment.
