I have like a red mark under my hair and then a red lump under my hair, thats all im aware of, im a teen and starting to get acne.. so are these red marks normal????
She has tried all sorts of cleaners and oxy type products, but nothing works. She doesn’t have acne anywhere else. Is there anyone out there with a similar problem/solution.
I have an irregular period, it only comes every few months or 3-4 times a year. I’ve had my period for 3 years and it hasn’t regulated. Does it sound like I have PCOS? There’s no other wierd symptoms like hair growth, acne, etc…well I have acne but I think it’s just normal teen acne.
My cycle is very regular – I have not had acne since a teen – I also just started having migraines 3-4 times a week starting about 3-4 weeks ago.
im a teen and i have mild acne. i had Proactiv for about 2/3 years. i only used it whenever i had an outbreak and i rarely had any acne back then so i didnt really use it alot, so about 4 months ago i switched to using the Acne Free 3 step little treatment, its just like proactiv but cheaper, and ive been using that for 3 months day and night and ive also been using Clearasil Stayclear Oil Free Daily Face Wash everyday and night. it isnt doing anything for me. ive been hoping that it would work after i used it for a while but im throwing in the towel. my friend had real severe acne and he went to his dermatologist and they put him on a treatment program called Active or Activa or Acutain or something like that and it worked great, his face is clear. i dont have a dermatologist bc i didnt think my acne was that bad, but now that its getting worse, i need it, but id like to see if anyone just had a ball park estimate of how much that treatment program costs?
so basically, i want to know how much that treatment costs (Active or Activa, or Acutane i cant remember)?
and also i just want to know people’s opinions on what i should do about it, like what products i should use?
im a teen so i will always get acne but does anybody know of something that has worked for them thats cheapish not like proactive my mom wont let me get that, or maybe a facial scrub i can actually make? pimples or black heads to get rid of

okay well prom is coming up and I’m wearing a dress that reveals my back a little. I need some tips on how to get rid of back acne. Also i want my skin to stay really clear for prom pictures…so if you could help me out i would really appreciate it.
if your looking for a good affordable drugstore cleanser for acne then stay here! so yes i know this isnt a question…but i just wanted to get this out there to people…im a “normal” teenage girl and i suffer from teen acne (puberty obviously). im embarrassed by my skin. ive tried a bunch of different drugstore facial cleaners, moisturizers, toner, etc. none of them have worked for me. not cetaphil, clean and clear..anything really. i have to pay for my own products btw. i was thinking about ordering pro active when my mom told me she heard some good things about “Neutrogena Advanced Solutions Complete Acne Therepy System”. so i went to walgreens.com and they said they were having a sale on it. 19.99$. plus it comes with a litle clear acne spot treatment thing. (btw i have extreeeeemely oily skin) so i got it yesterday…washed my face and did the step by step and did it again this morning…my skin ALREADY looks great. its brought out the color and texture in my skiin as well as reduced my breakouts. of course my skin isnt fully cleared but im going to continue to use this and i cant wait to see how my skin looks in about a week. =) take my advice and TRY THIS STUFF OUT while the sale is still going at walgreens! good luck!

hello ppl, im sooo frustrated…i already have acne on my face…and now im suspecting that i might have ezcema and/or rosacea on my face also… the acne is mild, face is dry, skin is flaky, dry patches, some redness on some areas of the face, except the nose and forehead, mainly on the cheeks and chin. my cheeks, in certain spots are sooo itchy too!!! i also have super sensitive skin. so i can’t use any strong chemicals on my face, such as benyzoly peroxide, saccylic acid. ive tried some natural remedies, but no results.
im not sure if its rosacea tho, since im indian, becuz its rare with ppl who aren’t white. plz help me!!!
Ok here is a picture of someone I know that has a very difficult skin problem on the face that has persisted over years…
She has gone to a lot of dermatologists and they either don’t know, or say it’s rosacea or a form of acne. But everything they have given her has not worked.
She is currently on Accutane which is a really strong antibiotic. She is on a course of 5 months. She has taken it for 3 months now. It has not gotten better, if not even worse. They are open sores, with pus inside them, they feel like they have liquid in them. They scab over but then pop with the pus trickling out of them. She has them in several places on her face as you can see in the picture. She is devestated with this, and no one knows what this is. Does anyone have this problem, or does anyone know what it can possibly be? Also if anyone has taken accutane, can you tell me what it was for and if it worked?

the chin is the classic place for Adult(hormonal) acne. It is harder to squash than teenage acne. You should go to a dermatologist and get it under control now before it gets out of hand.
I am 16 years old. I have been taking a oral antiboitic solodyn for about 3-4 weeks now, once a day and also apply cetaphil( gentle cleanser) and epiduo( acne gel) to my face once a day. I developed a few marks on my face this morning and they are very ugly and unsual. They are random red patches of skin that won’t lessen in color. They are a medium shade of red, very dry and rough looking, a little scaly( VERY little) and extremely itchy as well as burning. Along with them my face has been flushing and blushing all day….a fairly dark shade of red.
