i have been using metrogel for about a month now and i see no difference my doctor said it got lighter a little bit but seriously i don’t see any difference but that it stopped burning sensation. i don’t have acne rosacea or whatever it just plain red. i’m just sick of people every where who look at my cheeks, so i’m wonderig how much would laser surgery cost for it?
I am a 18 yr old male teen & have acne since i was 14. I realized today that i really do have acne scars – there is a cluster of red acne which leaves me red/brown marks, and i’ve had these for nearly 8 months. I wash my face 2 times a day, but no use. What proven treatments are there to solve this ? I am going to the doctors tomorrow to see what can be done….
Do you have past experiences that can be of use to me ? When did your acne vanish, do you have scars ?
I’ve had a few health problems recently and have seen my doctor about them (psoriasis, acne rosacea, a suspected stomach ulcer, and suspected rheumatoid arthritis) so I am seeing the relevant specialists and have appropriate creams etc. But I did wonder, are they linked?
I read an article which said that many people who had the Helicobacter pylori which caused their ulcers, also had acne rosacea. Are there any other links, and if so, what can I do to aid my recovery?
I’ve had acne problems since I was twelve, for eight years. I’m twenty now and its not nearly as bad as it once was but sometimes i have breakouts. I’ve been on every acne medication known to man, most of it worked to some extent but the majority of oral medications have dangerous side effects and I’m quite sick of the topical stuff, it makes my face so dry and I have heard it increases the risk of skin cancer.
So what can i do to get rid of this acne, Right now I’m just washing my face about four times a day and using clearasil cream every night, but its really messing up the skin on my face. I don’t have many acne problems when I use it, though. I’ve heard all the advice about acne like don’t touch your face, don’t eat greasy foods, etc. I’m doing all this stuff, but still having some problems. Is there a natural way to prevent this acne?
It’s summer time again, and the acne on my back is acting up. It was clearing up for awhile there, now it’s back with a vengeance. So I was wondering if anyone knows any home remedies to help reduce the problem. Any help would be great! Thank you!
Bad acne since 11 been 4 years now. I’m not even being dramatic. =(
why do surgery?
Go to a dermitoligest(sp)
plus if you have “mild” its not that bad everyone has it onc ein their life.
You could try proactive, thats hwat i use and it works alright, you can still break-out from stress, but it helps with normal acne..
when i was 16 i started eating ham then a few weeks later my acne got horrible. i already had pretty bad acne but after eating ham my face freakin erupted. it hurt when i talked and washed my face. then it burned after taking a shower. i stopped eating ham and started taking tetracycline. my acne cleared up but now its been a few months and i started drinking milk and now my acne is coming back (still taking tetracycline). is there any kind of connection between dairy products and acne
I didn’t but a friend of mine did. Before her dermatologist cleared it up she used pancake makeup to build a strong foundation. If it’s extremely blotchy, beauticians have a spray gun thing they use on professional jobs. If this is the route you choose, you might want to consider taking a night course at a beauty academy (they are affordable) to get your beauticians license so you can purchase your supplies wholesale. Or, make friends with a beautician that can get one for you cheap and is willing to show you how it works
are so perfect. I know photo shop, but they must do something like accutain and bright smile.
whats the difference?
how can i tell?
thank you in advance:D
Hello Star.
first of all GO TO THE DOCTOR.
IT can take ages with natural products to see any improvements apparently and also you may have to take products for a prolonged period. You could start with Vitamin B then add vitamin c . Vitamin B deficiency can be common in people with rosacea. Vitamin C strengthens the membranes that line the blood vessels and the connective tissue between skin cells. It also minimises the release of histamine, a chemical that widens blood vessels in response to allergies. Zinc helps to heal the top layer of the skin and regulates levels of vitamin A. Add copper for long term use. The essential fatty acids in fish oils or flax seed oil reduce inflammation. Its not wise to take zinc long term so you have to look this stuff up on one of the recommended sites on the other participants answers. OTHER THINGS YOU CAN DO Use fragrance free, greasless make up and facial cleansers and never astringents. never rub your skin . Cool your face with cooled down strong chamomile and marigold tea. I really hope some of this helps you. Well at least if you don’t like the advice it may make you look into it more thoroughly.
I have moderate acne and a few acne scars on my face, chest, back, and shoulders. I am in serious need of the best acne treatment out there. Please help!
I’ve been suffering for almost four years now, i’m 15; and this is pretty bad acne, not just a pimple or two every week.
