My skin color is like Halle Berrys and I have an olive undertone so the scars showed up dark purple to red. The acne scars are on my face.

What products do you think they use? Especially teen stars cause they’re in the midst of puberty, they wear a ton of makeup and they’re sweating on stage.

Hey, I am not normally the person to talk about my problems, but I feel that I have exhausted all options. I have had bad Back acne for 3 years now and I am now 17. After 3 years of Back acne there are extremely noticeable marks on my body from it as well.
I have hidden it until now, which has been a difficult task, as I played Australian football for 2 years, and decided to quit because of this. As a combo I also have Dermatagraphia (skin Writing Disease)which I have also hidden from everyone even my parents until now. I am unable to go to my parents about because they haven’t had anything like this, and I’ll feel bad because they won’t know what to do, it will feel like I have let them down too, to say that something like this makes me so weak.
I have used almost all commercial products for my back, and have found little to no results in any. I also read about the vinegar and tea tree oil method, but it seemed to only anger my back..I am a clean person and shower twice a day, making sure my back is cleaned well. For my scars I have used, Aloe Vera, Bio Oil, Vitamin E creams, etc..
I herd that people have found a quick but risky cure, by getting a really heavy sun burn on their affected areas and letting the skin peal apparently leaving smooth mark free skin, not sure how successful this is though.
If you have made it this far in my questions thank you, my main reason for asking this, is that my girlfriend is thinking about trying some new things, and I don’t feel as though I am good enough for her because of this.. I know this sounds pathetic.
If anyone has any idea of how I can remove these scars and present back acne please share if possible.
Thank you.

Well I have two unsure things about acne. Can acne be caused by hair in the pores or just oil? What kind of medicines or treatments would work to get rid of my back acne and the small cysts on my shoulders?

I am almost 26 and have had nagging (fairly minimal though) acne. It feels worse now than when I was in my teens and I am really fed up with it. I asked my doctor for Retin-A Micro but after reading reviews I got terrified. My skin isn’t so bad that i want to break out for months before I see improvement. I guess I’m looking for something more gentle. I’ve used Salicylic Acid and that helped a little, so I’m looking for nay and all suggestions. Thank you!

I’m 20 years old and should be past the puberty-style acne but it’s terrible and often stress activated. I’ve tried proactive, I’m on Yaz and about 1000 of countless other acne prevention products and programs. Is there a prescription or OTC remedy people who have failed with the same products have found successful? I’d really prefer to hear from people who have similar skin and tried the same products and have the same issues.

Background information:
I’ve been on doxycycline for around 9 months, and used to be on tetracycline for around a year to control my facial redness(Rosacea-ish) and acne.
My dosage is 100mg a day.
My derm said that I could try getting off doxycyline since she reckoned my acne was more or less under control (this I didn’t totally agree with her. I still get breakouts. It was just by coincidence that the day I was at the derm my face was pretty clear.)
I’d be actually glad to be taken off doxycyline, because it’s an understatement that antibiotics definitely is no long term solution but I’m worried about the rebound effect though.
Main Questions:
Is a rebound effect a 100% going to occur?
Did anyone not suffer from the rebound effect (meaning a worsening of acne) before, honestly?
And if there is a rebound effect indeed, how long would it last? Will it just breakout and go back to normal in weeks/months or progressively get worse?
And I felt that though I’m on doxycycline, I still do have acne/pimples though it’s supposed to curb it. Could it be that I’m already ‘immune’ to it and so stopping it would not make much difference?
Could someone offer me some sound advice through experience or expertise?

i have been using metrogel for about a month now and i see no difference my doctor said it got lighter a little bit but seriously i don’t see any difference but that it stopped burning sensation. i don’t have acne rosacea or whatever it just plain red. i’m just sick of people every where who look at my cheeks, so i’m wonderig how much would laser surgery cost for it?
