I already know that anti-acne pills exist, but do any of them work? What about supplements for skin health, do any of them improve acne?

I have moderate acne and quite a few acne scars and i was wondering if there were any over the counter treatments that are also afforable.

I have cystic acne, and my doctor told me that I should definitely try Accutane. The only issue is that my insurance doesn’t cover it and it would cost over $1000 a month. I’ve been using the Murad acne process and that’s been working well for me, but that doesn’t work for the cystic acne under the skin, only the blemishes on the top layer. Are there any other medications or products that have worked on cystic acne that you know of? Thank you times ten in advance.

*I would go with Sheercover. I have it and it works wonders. It doesn’t contain all of those chemicals like Talc that are harmful to your skin. It doesn’t feel cakey and honestly it just feels like you are not wearing any make-up and that it is your own skin!

Hi, I am thirteen, and obviously my hormones are now at their highesst, so I get zits… Like most teens…
So, I have tried Physicians Formula, and Maybelline Mineral Power, and Neutrogena, but NOTHING seems to WORK or STAY ON (!!!!!!!!)
I know that I need some type or kind of mineral stuff, and by the way, I am on a budget, so like don’t say to buy a foundation thats like thirty bucks..

I’ve heard that using acne cream like Proactiv or Clearsil can clear acne for a few weeks but will cause it to come back, even worse and last even longer. Is this true?
Also, I went to an acne treatment review website and for most acne treatment brands there are reviews that say it’s amazing and also reviews that says it’s horrible, so it’s hard to know what product will have the best resulsts. Any advice?

My cousin, she is only sixteen has suffered from acne and spots for 4 years and they dont seem to be improving. She really wants something that will make her red marks lighter and less noticeable. Has anyone tried anything that works. She drinks alot of water and is taking tetracycline and using zinereyt.

I can’t use Proactive because it just doesn’t work for me on my skin , other than my face, for long periods of time. The same goes with Acne Free, but this includes my face. Most other products don’t work either. I need something fast; it’s almost prom. lol. Any suggestions?

On my forehead I have a lot of red acne, but I also have very dry, flaky skin on my forehead. Whenever I use acne medicine, my skin becomes more dry. Whenever I use moisturizer, my acne gets worse. Is there a product out there that would solve my skin problems?
