Hi there,
Ive had acne troubles since I was twelve and I tried countless different soaps and treatments with no positive result. Unfortanutly i’ve been cursed with the dreaded excema.. so that dosent help either. I’ve tried switching to Organic Types of soaps hoping i just had sesitive skin.. and that didnt help either! So im stuck with pimples, blackheads, and everytime I touch my face that spot turns red!! I dont know what in the heck is going on here with my skin but i could use a few tips. Im getting older and its getting embaressing ya know!
Thanks all

I’m starting to get random pimples and small pimples that clump together. I wear makeup, but I wear a protective primer so the makeup doesn’t sink into my skin. I want a good acne medicine that prevents pimples and scars and cures the ones that I have too. My older sister used proactive and she said that once she stopped acne started piling and it did the same for her friends, so I’m wondering if that happens to everyone if so is there other medicine that does not do that. I want to use this medicine only if I need it, so when I stop using I don’t want acne piling up, I want my skin to stay clear. I know there’s a lot of choices like proactive, Mondrad, Klear Action, AcneFree, Biore, and many more but what’s so far the best?
I know I’m asking for a lot, but I would gladly appreciate it.
Please and Thank You

I turned 18 two months ago and I still keep getting breakouts! The weird thing is I only broke out sometimes when I hit puberty around 13, after that I had really great skin till a few months after I turned 17 I got a huge breakouts on my cheeks and for the past year I keep getting these sporadic big breakouts. I’m confused because I thought acne gets better as you get older? I’m on Yaz birth control too now and it’s fourth going into fifth months and at first my skin was really clear but now it’s doing it again! I had four pimples on my cheek last week, now two above my lip and one next to my nose. Why is this happening? What can I do? I hate going out like this!

I’m a 13 year old boy and I have mild acne. But it seems to be getting worse. So I want to use the right kind of medication to prevent it.
Thanks for your help in advance!

P.S.If you use proactiv (does it work?) and how much does it cost and where do you get it?

My daughter is a teen and has slight acne problem.
It’s not too serious, just little ones here and there.
We tried Clearisil and it doesn’t seem to be working very well.
She has soft, light skin color, and her skin is a little dry type.
Any suggestions on cleanser/scrubs?
something common and affordable would be good.

Drinking water only can not solve the problem…
You need a more thorough treatment. I suggest you start with these steps:
1. Avoid oil-based products such as facial lotions, wash and cosmetics. Look for products that are “non-comedogenic,” it means it will not clog your pores.
2. Do not wear tight headband, baseball hat, and/or helmet when you exercise or play sports, and make sure you wash the sweat-soaked things each time you wear them.
3. Keep the skin hydrated and moist so your cells can function properly. Moisturize your face with mild, non-comedogenic moisturizers to keep it hydrated. Moisturizing is a necessity. Again, the product with the least amount of chemical additives is the best. Always use a light moisturizer on your face after cleansing.
4. Cleanse your pores with an alcohol-free toner or skin conditioner on cotton balls. Do not try to scrub harshly or you will strip and damage your skin. Even after rinsing your face, if you do not remove the remainder of cleanser and loosened debris residues, you are only going to imbed that debris deeper into the pores as you layer serums and moisturizers on top. The absolute best way to perform this deep pore cleansing is with an alcohol-free toner or skin conditioner on cotton balls. There’s no need to harm your skin by vigorous scrubbing or harsh acids, simply wipe with toner damp cotton balls until the last cotton comes away perfectly white.
5. Astringents, Salicylic Acid, retinoic acids, and glycolic acids all work to prevent pores from clogging. Be aware of some active ingredients like benzoyl peroxide, these ingredients can cause major side effects.
For better results, I suggest you also fight your acne from inside, because hormonal problems could also be the worst cause of acne. And for this kind of treatment, please choose safe ingredients… herbals are the best.
Good luck!
