OK so I just started using this new acne medicine last night. It’s not proactive but it’s just like it. I’ve read that your acne will get worse before it gets better. Is this true? And if so, why? Is it because it brings the bacteria to the surface?
Oh, and if it does get worse before it gets better, should I pop the pimples or should I let the medicine do it’s trick?

I currently use Proactiv and it’s not treaty the under-skin pimples i have. It works wonders for the few white heads i get but i mainly get the under-skin pimples that hurt to touch. My skin is normal. It’s not oily or dry its just normal. Please not im 14 so nothing too expensive. If you have acne like mine what do you suggest i use?
My 3 yr old daughter has 4 or 5 white head pimples scattered around her face. They come and go. I don’t know if it is stress or what. She showers regularly and eats a healthy diet. I had acne as a teen. Could she have just large pores? Is there anything I can put on them to make them go away?
im 15 years old and i don’t have a bad skin but some spots on chin and face. Im using proactive solution now for like 3 days(heheee) and im not sure whether this would work or not. Want to know if it’s ok for me to do a laser surgey to get rid of all these bloody pimples??
i mean my dad ain’t got no problem with the surgery….. so please gimmie some advices.

i have been trying for a long time to get rid of my acne ( im a teen). I use proactiv and it works a little but still doesn’t go away. everyday i get a new pimple and it is really frustrating. I have heard of SSC Continous Clear and wonder if it will work, or anyother daily routine that will get rid of and prevent all of my acne. i never get blackheads.
My girlfriend is 27 years old and has never had a skin condition. She really never had any zits. All of a sudden during a stressful time in her life last summer, her face broke out with little pimples all over her face. She complained that it itched and burned. She is a nurse and an OB Dr. gave her some topical steriod cream. It instantly went away. Now, we are living together and her face has broke out really bad and she says it hurts really bad. I did not know this, but she told me that she kept using the steriod cream until now because it quit working. She went to a dermitologist and he didn’t really look at it, listen to her, or anything. He said that it is acne, and that she is having a reaction to the steriod cream. I don’t believe him because she had the same symptoms before she used it except it is now worse. Do any of you have any ideas? I looked at Rosacea on Web MD but she does not have visable blood vessels, just little pimples. She’s depressed bad.
I have some acne and pimples as well as scars on my face. My friends were suggesting me to go for facial treatment but I’m not sure whether it will really help me in clearing the acne, pimples and the scars.
Should I go for facial treatment?
I have had acne since second grade, but just on my face. But now it is on my chest back, and shoulders also. It is not so much my fault i develuped acne in the family line, i am a teen, and i do many sports.
I’m 17 and it seems like forever since I had pimples on my back and chest. Even the ones that disappear leave away scars, which are embarrassing. I take two showers daily, and am a hygiene freak, and I really care about my looks, and these acne scars add salt to the wound. Is there a way to get rid of them without expensive laser treatments?
Do you ever use any kind of concealer, makeup, or powder to cover really red breakouts?
If yes, do you care that makeup is “girly” or you just care that you look good and ready to face the world in the morning?
If no, is it because its too “girly” or just because you dont care or need to.
I want to lessen the aprearance and occurance of the blemishes. I can even see them through my foundation. I pick at my skin and am trying to stop. I’ve tried every facial clenser I can think of. And the stronger ones geared to teens for oily super acne prone skin seem like they dry me out too much.
Btw I’m 22
Any foundation recomendations????
