How old are you, what is the name of the treatment, the cost, and how bad was your acne and for how long did you have it?

I’m 15, have had acne since 11. First it was mild but then it got to be moderate and it’s all over my face now and my chest and back. I’ve tried proactiv and it worked while I had mild acne but then I stopped and it came back MORE. I’ve also been on Minocycline and it helped my body acne but not so much on my face. I’m wondering what else is out there. I want to try Accutane but afraid of the side effects. Thanks!

I have no family history of bad acne like me. My parents and my grandma says I’ll grow out of it but I don’t believe them. Dx Everyone has such good skin! My grandma is 67 and she doesn’t even have saggy skin. But I’m stuck with a pizza face.

How come it is more common for teenagers to have acne than adults? I wanted to know this because i have moderate acne and mom and dad have very little acne Also my friend Mike has acne to but his parents do not have as much. Why is this?

I recently visited my dermantologist and she prescribed Differin for my acne which i have had a hard time controlling lately. My acne is hereditary i guess because my parents had it growing up so i was just wondering how long differin is going to take to work?

I have mild acne on my face, neck, chest, and back. I have had it for about 2 years now and it’s really embarrassing and I’ve tried lots of things at drug stores. Birth control? Im a 14 yr old girl and I want to go on birth control. No its not because I want to have sex. But to help out with my periods and a little acne. How did you ask your mom for them and what was her reaction?

ive got bad acne, and nothing out there works long term. it works for maybe a month, then it stops working and my acne gets worse, ive used every product out there, and nothing works any more!
i also have a case of what i think is rosacea that i want to get taken care of before school starts.
how should i tell my parents, im 13 and im not much of a confrontational type.
