I usually use the Murad Cleanser, and just the Murad Skin Perfecting Lotion. I don’t use the exfoliating acne treatment gel that comes in the kit. My mom says that after you put the exfoliating acne treatment gel on, you’re suppose to wash it off, but the instruction says nothing of that. Is that true?

I have acne, not severe acne. Just like 5 Pimples, and dark spots from where my acne was. I hate those spots. My mom says they aren’t acne scars because acne scars are indentions in ur skin. So, how can I get rid of my dark spots, and acne as fast as possible?

I’m in my early 20′s and I have been using Proactive once a day but it hasn’t really worked for me. My mom wants me to use it twice a day. I have no idea how to get rid of this acne. I have heard birth control pills might work but I’m not sure if that’s true or not. I didn’t have acne like this when I was a teenager.

Im 13 and i used to have pretty severe acne, but a tried benzoyl peroxide and it worked amazingly for me and my acnes pretty much gone but the only thing is is that i have these ugly dark acne scars that makes my forehead look like its still covered in acne. I want to cover it up with foundation or concealer or something but my mom wont let me she says that im "too young" for makeup but i honestly need it my face still looks like i have tonss of acne. i have had acne scars for about a year and i hate it it really lowers my self esteem and i hate mirrors, i look at my scars and remember those painfull memories, the deppression that it caused. When my skin was good i could get girls in a click of a finger and now girlz look at me and just see a hidious beast its really upsetting

I’ve tried lemon juice, ice cubes, original yogurt, to baking soda, but I can’t seem to get rid of my acne SCARS I’ve had them for 3 days but it hasn’t got better. I don’t know what to use, and my mom won’t let me go to the dermatologist. I’ve got rid of acne scars before but for some reason my remedies won’t work now for scarring, what should I use or do?

I am 15 and have had it since i was 10 but i would love to get rid of it, i recently tried out proactive in it didn’t really work for me. i also have tried a liquid hand soap that worked better for me it was antibacterial soap so do you think the cause of my acne is bacteria also what products do you suggest? My mom thinks it due to my salt intake but recently i have cut way back and i still have my acne any ideas tips or pointers?

My mom does not let me use cover up because it makes my face look worst and it breaks me out instantly. I have stuff to help with my acne so i don’t have anymore acne but the scars are still there. I am a twelve year old girl. I get acne mostly on my forehead (mainly between my eyebrows), near my nose and on my chin. My nose is really oily too, i dont know why! I have used nutregena oil-free acne wash, nutregena rapid clear, and clearasil daily face wash, but all of them either did nothing, or made my acne worse, or dried out my skin! Right now all i am doing is washing my face with plain soap daily. It helps somewhat. My mom wotn let me use any zit cream or anything, only face washes, because she says the other stuff will dry out my skin. What is some things i can do to get rid of my oily skin and acne without drying out my skin?. Nothign too expensive, i cant afford proactive or any of that stuff. preferably natural.

My mom keeps saying that its because I’m dirty and that I dont wash my fash good. I used a cleanser and srub everyday. I used to have acne long time ago too but then I started using proactive and it got better. My skin was really good and I thought I didnt have to use Proctive anymore.
