Photo diary of my journey to hell, and back again thanks to the demon, acne. This tracks the most exhausting year of my life – the gruelling regime of hydrogen peroxide and real volcanic mud which cured my acne. The moral of this story is don’t delay, act quickly and stick with it. This is not a quick fix – ‘The Regime’ was a 2-3 hour session EVERY NIGHT for months. Be careful if you have sensitive skin because this can aggravate it. Take about 1 teaspoon of baking soda and mix with a few drops of water until it makes a paste. Gently rub into skin in a circular motion and then rinse. If you use it as a mask, start for only a few minutes at a time so you can learn what your skin can handle. When you rinse, scrub into your skin gently in a circular motion. Enjoy!

I have a lot of blackheads on my nose, and several highly noticeable acne spots on my face. I have tried many generic brands, as well as Clean & Clear, but nothing seems to be able to work. What, from your own experience, is the best treatment for acne?
I’m a 30 year old female who has mild acne (blackheads with the occasional breakout) but also need an anti aging product as well. I’ve tried neutrogena and do not necessarily need a low cost regimine, just one that works. I’m looking for cleanser, treatment, moisturizer, and eye cream. Any advice is appreciated!
