I Just got some benzoyl peroxide gel today from my personal doctor. I know its not going to clean up my acne(mild) over night. I would like to know how long it usually takes and, or how well it works.

How true are these claims
Hi there.. a while ago i purchased some 10% benzoyl peroxide cream for my acne. After reading up on this stuff for a while i had decide that the side effects would be worth it.. they include: Redness – Flaky dry skin – “Burning sensations” and most notably everyone i asked about this product warned that it would aggravate and make my rosacea worse.
After the first few uses i experienced no redness or dry skin.. actually my skin had become the opposite and much less red and sore.. and to my surprise it is actually clearing up my rosacea? it is MUCH less red and sensitive after useing this cream.
now i have to ask.. has anyone else had no side effects from this stuff? and why is it clearing up my rosacea? the tube said that redness was an indication of it working so does lack of redness mean it is not working as it is supposed to?
