I’m in my teen years right now, and my acne is getting the better of me. I’ve had it since grade 7. At first I didn’t care. But, now, in high school (grade 11), its really limiting me. I”m more to myself, self-esteem is a rollercoaster ride daily, and I can’t ask the girl I really like out. I know that even though the over the counter drugs and medication work, only for short term, and the acne will rebound after. So, anyone got any tips or suggestions, i’m willing to consider everything, except Accutane, Proactive, or anything in this area. THnx

I used accutane about 7 years ago and don’t really want to resort to that again.

I’ve had it bad since hitting my early teens. I am now in my early twenties and i still have it bad. I’ve tried the creams, the masks, the liquids, everything and still nothing works. My mom even took me to a skin doctor when i was fourteen but her stuff did not work either. Any other ideas that i’ve missed?

I have bad acne and sensitive skin. Clearasil, ivory soap, and most common remedies haven’t helped much. Does anyone have any suggestions?

For some reason, I keep breaking out on my neck and the back of my head. Is this a symptom of something? Please feel free to ask any follow up questions.

I am a teen with stubborn acne and I have tried everything. I took the whole skin id test thing and found out the stuff was 50 bucks. So, I wanted to know if anyone has ever used Skin ID and has had successful results. Thanks!

I’m currently on two prescription creams for the face and still breaking out. I’ve tried proactiv, but it stopped working. I don’t want to take any antibiotics or accutane. I’ve heard there are internal supplements worth looking into, possibly all natural. I’m ready to go on the pill soon f it doesn’t clear up

I need something functional for my teen sister so something that is safe with little to no side effects would be good.

I’ve always had really beautiful, naturally tan skin. But starting this year, it gradually got worse and worse. I don’t think what I have is acne, but my cheeks are a really splotchy pink, with pink spots on my cheeks and jawline. And the texture is rough in places. But they don’t look like pimples?
I don’t think it’s Rosacea, or whatever, because I don’t blush really bad. And my face doesn’t burn more than any normal person. Only when I’m embarrassed, angry, or in really really hot weather.
Does anyone know what might be wrong? I wanted to go to a dermatoligst, but my mom doesn’t want to…

So like the questions says, anyone know how to get rid of back acne. Soap and water seems to help a bit, but it’s not really going away. Is there any kind of body wash for this?

Red face? why doesnt it go away?
Its not rosacea.(checked with doctor) But after my acne breakout which was a little over a year now, my face is not as intense but still red. The cheeks and alittle around my nose area has a faded red colour. Its not that bad but my face was normal skintone b4, NORMAL! I drink a lot of water (almost 4L each day) and eat a lot of fruits. I just dont understand y isnt it back to normal (i miss it)!!. I poop ever1 another day. Is the redness b.c of my lack of bowel movements?. i noticed when i had stomach flu(diarrhea) my face was normal skintone.. I am 18 years of age and male.

Ok here is a picture of someone I know that has a very difficult skin problem on the face that has persisted over years…
She has gone to a lot of dermatologists and they either don’t know, or say it’s rosacea or a form of acne. But everything they have given her has not worked.
She is currently on Accutane which is a really strong antibiotic. She is on a course of 5 months. She has taken it for 3 months now. It has not gotten better, if not even worse. They are open sores, with pus inside them, they feel like they have liquid in them. They scab over but then pop with the pus trickling out of them. She has them in several places on her face as you can see in the picture. She is devestated with this, and no one knows what this is. Does anyone have this problem, or does anyone know what it can possibly be? Also if anyone has taken accutane, can you tell me what it was for and if it worked?
