I’m in my teen years right now, and my acne is getting the better of me. I’ve had it since grade 7. At first I didn’t care. But, now, in high school (grade 11), its really limiting me. I”m more to myself, self-esteem is a rollercoaster ride daily, and I can’t ask the girl I really like out. I know that even though the over the counter drugs and medication work, only for short term, and the acne will rebound after. So, anyone got any tips or suggestions, i’m willing to consider everything, except Accutane, Proactive, or anything in this area. THnx
I am 14 and i have average acne for a teen but i really want to go see a dermatologist about it. Do you know how much it is to go see one? A session? Does it help?/Did it?
I’m 14, and i’ve been using Proactive since June 2008, so about 3 months now, and i still have alot of acne. I wear cover up daily and eyeliner and stuff. I usually don’t wear my hair in my face or anything. My acne makes me really self conscious. I need help. Any suggestions?
This is what stresses me out the most. I have rosacea so that’s the main reason why my skin is red and blotchy, but does anyone have any suggestions to help clear the acne?
The area around my skin is completely scarred and I think that’s my biggest problem because there’s so little you can do that doesn’t cost a fortune.
Ideas anyone?
I use this product called Acne Free. It’s supposed to be better than Pro Activ so i tried it for a month. After the first 5 days, i saw an improvement but it hasn’t improved since then. I need another product that’ll remove my acne within a month because i want the acne to go away in time for school. Please help.
Provide a product that you would recommend and describe your results after using it. (also provide the cost and where i can buy it.)
THANKS SO MUCH!!!!! I REALLY NEED THIS AND I APPRECIATE IT!!! =]
Hey, guys. I was just wondering if you have tried anything that cleared up your acne or know of anything that helps? I’m desperate, and I have tried everything!!! Right now I am using Neutrogena Oil Free acne wash and prescription Benzaclin and Differin. I would preferably like something that I could buy at the drugstore and doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. I have fairly sensitive skin, that is combination. PLEASE HELP!
I was diagnosed with this skin condition a week ago. Over past few moths I’ve noticed my skin was getting dry and red with few spots. I’ve used Metrosa for a week and I can see big improvement. Some of the websites say, that i should avoid sun light. However I would like to have a nice tan before the summer starts. Can I go on a sun bed? Would it make it worse? Can I use foundation to cover up the redness.? And is it true that exercises like jogging and cycling make it worse as well? I jog few times a week and cycle as well i can’t imagine not being able to do it for rest of my life.
