I am 32 years old and I have battled an acne problem since I was a teenager. At times it would be OK but then flare up again. For the past 4 years I have used Proactiv and although it helps, I still have flare ups. Has anyone tried any other products out there other than Proactiv and has had any success?
UPDATED REVIEW: www.youtube.com This is my review on Proactive – so far. I have only been on it for a “week and a half” but this is my experience so far I started off with really oily skin. My face was never dry and I would use a 2% salicylic acid astringent twice a day still without drying it out, but this product really did it! Right now I am doing it at night and in the morning putting moisturizer on.

My son is 14 1/2 years old. He has extremely sensitive skin…eczema and roscacia (sp) and then bad acne. We have been to the dermatologist and she gives him all these harsh products that Absolutely do not help him. He has tried all over the counter and prescription stuff with no help, his skin is too sensitive for it to work. The acne is causing him to be withdrawn and very self conscious. PLEASE HELP!

Just a quick tip on clearing up acne scars. Not really going to count this as a journal, gonna make those about every week or so :] DIRECTIONS: – obviously get a potato lol. -wash potato -slice ends off -cut about 2 thin slices -wash face BEFORE applying potato -rub on face (everywhere you have a scar) -wait 15 mins then rinse off :] oh so simple and natural
When i was younger i had terrible acne. Now i am older it is gone even though i still get the odd pimple or two. I have quite a lot of scars from the acne. Being from Australia it gets hot and my face would get really oily therefore promoting the acne. I’ve heard of people using certain natural oil creams and things like that to help the scars be less visible. I don’t want to go through laser treatment or anything i was just wondering if anyone could tell me some good cream or remedies that may help with them?
I read a paragraph on a web site that sugar can cause acne, and I think thats the main reason why I have acne, so what can I eat that has a little sugar in it, but won’t make my acne worse?
I’m gonna cut out choclate, and I don’t really drink soda, and for sweet tea, I’m gonna use Splenda.
I’m 15 and am still a virgin. I’m not planning on having sex but I have bad acne and nothing the dermatologists prescribed works. My older sister says I should go on the pill and that’ll it help my acne. I heard you can get free birth control, but how? My family’s kinda broke so free would be best. Can someone please tell me step-by-step? Thanks.
