I used to have acne on my upper back (gross, I know.) I’m on medication and have been for five years. I still hate bathing suits because I feel like I have acne. I’m always trying to hide my back, but realistically, there is nothing there except clear skin. How do I become less paranoid?
So, I’m 23yrs old, female. I had bad acne in my teens, then I was on the depo shot for 2yrs. The shot cleared my skin for the most part. Now, I have a copper IUD, so no more hormones. My acne has flared up and won’t go away. What can I do about the acne?
I have had fairly good skin my whole life and just had some acne through my teen years. Now I am 22 and I hardly ever get a pimple, but if I do it is just one and it goes away fast. Anyway, I am getting married in less than 3 weeks and I just started breaking out everywhere on my face. What do I do? I think it is stress! But how do I get rid of it and stop it.
My skin is driving me crazy. I had very, very minimal acne as a teen, I am now in my 30′s (this started around 23) and my skin is extremly oily, and because of this it gets many large embarassing bumps. I wash my face twice a day with neutragena oil free face wash. I feel like I am only doing it for my health because it does nothing for me. I have tried everything over the counter, as well as dermalogica, and proactive. I do not have health insurance and cannot afford the enormous derm. visit. This is seriously upsetting me because it feels like no matter what i do I can not get this to go away. I feel like this is all people see when they look at me. I also feel like it makes me look like I dont take care of myself because my skin is always so oily, this is embarrassing. What can I do differently? If anyone has a solution I would be greatful.
Please no jabs, as this really is difficult to ask about.
i know it is extremely common to have acne when you are a teenager, almost completely impossible to not get some pimples as a teen, but does acne ever stop? does it just decrease or does it ever go away completely? if so at waht age
I recently accumulated a large pimple on my nose in which it is reoccurring, as in it comes back every so often. At first I popped it, puss came out, then blood..so I left it alone. Now, the acne is tremendously spreading. I dumbly popped it again once today, with the same outcome as before. Now, I’m looking into treatment. Advice please.
I have had a huge problem with acne vulgaris (nodular/cystic) for the past 3 years. I have tried literally everything – over the counter washes, topicals, cremes, etc. I have gone to the doctor and been prescribed oral and topical antibiotics, retin-A, and a few others. I used Proactiv for a year, (never worked) and now I’m on AcneFree Severe System (for a week and a half so far) and I have seen little improvement. My boyfriend’s sister works at a pharmacy and recommended I take Accutane. I’ve heard it can increase your chances of becoming suicidal is depresion runs in your family – and it does in mine. So what I’m asking, what can you all tell me about Accutane? And am I at risk with the depression issue if I go on Accutane?
well ok I’m a pre-teen and have acne i had it sine about 5th grade and haven’t have a clear day since so like should i see a dermatologist or something or just try some more products well so far I’ve only tried cetaphil, neatrugena and some cheap 99 cent stuff
