My Brother Has Very Bad Acne On His Back, Any Ways To Get Rid Of It Quick Before We Go To Florida In 2 Weeks?

My brother’s back is covered with acne. We are going on holiday to USA in 2 weeks. He is using special creams for it. Is there any ways to help speed up the process and get rid of it quickly? or even improve it?

You’ve already been given a lot of advice on what type of topical applications may help. In addition to these, make sure he wears only 100% cotton shirts. Anything with polyester, nylon etc. traps sweat and oil and makes the situation worse. If he can’t get to a dermatologist, 10% benzoyl peroxide creams are still the best over the counter medications.

He can try this. When washing his back use a loofah, sponge or exfoliant to help remove any dead skin cells that may clog up pores. Use a gentle action and don’t be too harsh otherwise he will end up breaking the skin. He should probably change his shirt twice a day to avoid bacteria buildup. the sun will reduce the acne. he could also go to a beauty salon and get a chemical peeling, but then you have to stay out of the sun for a wile after, so ask them about that first
Alcohol is this best disinfectant that can be used on skin so go to the chemist and ask for medicinal alcohol (drink it an you die !) , rub it into his back 3 times a day and it should work .

my sister had it too.. waterbased soaps will do, like cetaphil or try sulfur soap, dr. kauffman’s..sure it will get dry.. it’s available at watsons i think=)
