i used proactive, i didn’t like. i tried it twice and both times my acne got worse and my face started peeling because it was so dry. I haven’t tried murad, you should try it, it might work for you.
if you don’t like it though, or would like to try another product i suggest clear. now. it’s a 3 step system but it uses sodium chlorite combined with salicylic acid to clear up your skin. It’s really gentle, my face didn’t dry out at all but it did clear up! I really like the results i got!http://aorihuela.qbeautyzone.com/
I’ve tried both, I saw a little bit of improvement using murad, but after about a week, things just went back to normal. Proactive didn’t work for me either (definitely found it over- rated and over- priced).
If you would like to try murad out, then i suggest you do not purchase the full sized bottles. Look for the trial kit- which is what I got (all my bottles are pretty much still full and sitting on the shelf collecting dust).
Other recommendations: I’ve just started using Shisedo products (met with a consultant at sephora) and am so far quite happy with the results. My skin feels softer and i’m seeing fewer breakouts.
I have not tried Murad, but proactiv didn’t work for me one bit.
