Is Kenalog Injection Good For Acne On Back Of Neck?

I have about 9 to 10 small black pimples on back of my neck – near the hair line. Dermatologist suggested using kenalog injections. Would anyone recommend these? Are there any side effects.
Appreciate any successful alternate medications.
