I Was On Accutane, But Now My Acne Is Coming Back. How Do I Keep It From Getting As Bad As It Was Before?
Before I went on Accutane, I had severe acne on my face, chest, and back. My dermatologist had me try many topical creams and pills but nothing ever worked. Accutane completely cleared it up. Now it is mildly returning on my face, chest, and back. I’ve been using Pro-Activ but it hasn’t been doing anything. I’m very scared of my acne becoming severe again. Is there ANYTHING, like an at-home treatment, that is almost guaranteed to work?

As nothing has worked and you are shifting to home remedies., which you have done before doing to dermatologist .
Keep your face dry- Too much oil on the surface of your skin is often the root cause of acne. Make it count to clear your face with a mild soap several times a day to really keep it dry enough not to let the oil accumulate on the surface of your skin. Another point you should take into consideration is that you should not rub or squeeze your pimples while washing your face as that would leave scars when acne is gone. Learn to be as gentle as possible to get the best results.
What you don’t know yet- I know that what I am about to reveal to you can be almost impossible to believe. But it is 100% truth! Do you know what you can cure any sort of acne within 3 days? Seems impossible right? Well visit and seehttp://acnecureinfo.blogspot.com
Many easy to use home remedies
I was on accutane for a minute but due to the potential side effects I got off of it. Try going to get facilas at a spa. Granted they aren’t cheap but they open your pores, the person performing the facials also does extractions of blackheads. And then go back to the dermatologist and let them put you on some medication that will help the occasional flair ups. all the while you do the facials, they work together to keep your skin clear.
:O( nope. If the proactiv is not working and you swear you are using it 100% by the directions (even try the mask)
then call your MD back – and explain – they may be able to give you stronger creams – and put you on the accutane again.
Sadly nothing at home works for a good period of time to kill the bacteria that causes acne.
Try using the stridex on the go pads during they day.
Drinking a lot of water
showering at night with the proactiv
and in the morning too -
Vitamins a e and c and zinc
and small health doses of the sun help.
You weren’t on accutane for long enough. Because Accutane can cause some horrible side effects, doctors are stubborn to keep patients on it for too long, because in America anyone can sue anything and all that crap. So I’d say you need to go back to her/him and go on it again. In New Zealand it’s paid for by the government but I’m not sure what it’s like in America, so this could be an expensive option, but probably the best option – you really don’t want to let the acne call your skin home for a second time!
Aloe vera is meant to be really good for acne, it doesn’t contain any harsh chemicals that may be contained in some acne creams. You need to buy a plant and use the gel and apply to your skin, there is a bit more explained on my blog that I hope will help you, http://basicbeautytipsatblogspot.blogspo…

PROACTIVE FOR SURE
homemade remedy to clear acne for a lifetime:
Things You’ll Need:
All natural facial soap, as pure as you can get it.
Baking Soda
Water
Benzoyl Peroxide, any strenth
Facial Mask, green clay type
Clean dry towel
Wash your skin lightly with an all-natural bar soap. I use Dr. Bronners Lavender bar soap. Be careful not to scrub your skin. All you need to do is to create a nice lather all over and rinse well with clean water.
While your skin is still wet, pour about 2 Tbsp. of Baking Soda (Sodium Bicarbonate) into your hand. Add to it just enough water to make a paste. Apply the paste all over your face and light work it around your face in circular motions for about 1 minute. Be careful not to press to hard, just use light circular motions. Rinse well with clean water.
Dry your skin by patting it lightly with a towel. Apply the Benzoyl Peroxide ONLY to the active acne spots. Allow to dry and then dab a little mud mask only on the spots. Leave on overnight.
You will gradually reduce the use of Benzoyl Peroxide as your skin clears until you do not use it at all. The Baking Soda works very quickly
