How Does Freezing You Acne Help Get Rid Of It?

I read up online that if you freeze you acne it helps get rid of it. How does that work and does it work? Also, are there any other ways to get rid of it without treating products? I will pick a best answer.

I’ve never heard that about acne before, but I know that works with warts. If the acne freezing is the same as wart freezing, then the once it’s frozen, it just falls off. (not the most pleasant thought, I know)

I have heard that freezing acne dose help get rid of it. I have also been doing research on finding ways to get rid of acne. You can try freezing it to see if it would fall of like a wart dose. If you find that doesn’t do anything try mixing 1/2 a tsp of baking soda and a tsp of minty toothpaste (my fav is colgate), then put a little bit on the affected area before you go to bed (dont rub in or it wont work) in the morning you WILL find great results. Just remember dont pick at it otherwise you will end up with an unessesary scar… YUCK! I really hope this dose work.

Hun, I don’t know how bad your acne is but freezing it will probably make the pimples less swollen and make redness less apparent, but in my opinion it’s a waste of time since it doesn’t kill the trapped bacteria that’s under the skin, and unpleasant as well since ice is sooo cold hehe….anyways….I have been battling moderate breakouts for years now, and I can tell you what is now working for me- OXY 10% benzoyl peroxide vanishing cream- titled “clear” on the plastic tube- it has a black and red packaging n it’s amazing! it dries my pimples better than the similar clearasil 10% formula does so yay! I’m really glad I bought it and you should too…I know u said u don’t want to use “treating products” but a spot treatment cream is a must- trust me!…if ur looking for more natural ways 2 treat acne with things that u have in ur kitchen- use apple cider vinegar every night-just dip it in a cotton ball, rub on the affected area, and wash it in the morning. U can also use honey as a mask- it’s a natural antibiotic.
