How can I get rid of acne scars?
When i was younger i had terrible acne. Now i am older it is gone even though i still get the odd pimple or two. I have quite a lot of scars from the acne. Being from Australia it gets hot and my face would get really oily therefore promoting the acne. I’ve heard of people using certain natural oil creams and things like that to help the scars be less visible. I don’t want to go through laser treatment or anything i was just wondering if anyone could tell me some good cream or remedies that may help with them?

This is true even when treatments have been successful in clearing the skin. The problem is that even after using the best treatment for acne, you may need to follow up with an acne scars treatment to get rid of dark marks and pits left on your face.
Historically, acne scar removal is something that young adults do not do for a variety of reasons. For some, the trauma they went through to finally have smooth skin, was so much that they just do not want to do anything else that might jeopardize their good results. Others are concerned that it may require surgery which might make their scars worse. Still others believe that it is too expensive requiring things like cosmetic plastic surgery or a laser treatment.
What many people do not realize is that there are additional professional treatments available that do not require scar removal through laser surgery. There are even home remedies that use over the counter items.
The difference today is that there are more choices than ever available to not just teenagers, but now for young adults as well. In the past, diagnosis and treatments were focused on the prepubescent and teenage acne sufferer. More scar treatments are now available ranging in price from a fast and effective, but high-priced laser treatment, to a less expensive fade acne scar chemical treatment, to free but long-duration home remedies.
Young adult sufferers should not fear getting rid of acne scars any further. Since so much of success in love and business rides on our physical appearance, spending whatever can be budgeted is probably the wisest thing possible to do.
putting vitamin E on your skin helps a lot!!
Creams and lotions like "bio oil" plump up the skin temporarily but they are only cosmetics and outrageously expensive; any moisturizer will do the same job.
Laser treatment can work but it is hugely overrated so chemical peels may be the only option; care must be taken because it can cause even more damage – consult your doctor first.
I know exactly how you feel. i had acne on my face, shoulders, and back, thats now dissappeared and left me with lots of spots.mederma for scars is great! ive been using it for like a month and a half and my scars are clearing up nicely. your skin does peel though. but thats what lets you know that its working. its about 30 dollars for a small bottle. but trust me its worth it!
I have been answering few question today aboy acne and I just want to recommend a product that my sister used last year and now she does not have Acne anymore. Well, it worked for her and there has also been a lot of testimonials from people who has used it but it may not work for you because everyone is different. One thing I have learned is to have an open mind about things to achieve what you want.

Try the following home remedy;
Mash a ripe banana with the help of a fork. Then apply it on acne scars. Leave it for 15 minutes and then wash your face with the fresh water. regular use will help to get rid of the acne scars.
1) Make facial wash by using lemon and rose water. Mix them together and apply the liquid on your face. Leave it for a few minutes and then wash off by using cotton pad soaked in warm water.
2) Use egg whites to treat your acne; apply the egg whites on your face and leave for 10 -15 minutes. Then wash your face with cold water.
3) Mix oatmeal and natural yogurt and apply on your face for a few minutes. When you feel the mixture dries on your face, wash it with warm water.
4) Take a cotton pad and dip it in rose water, clean your face with the rose water a few times a day to get better looking skin.
5) Take one lemon and squeeze its juice. Apply the lemon juice on the acne pimples and leave for 20 minutes. Then wash your face with lukewarm water. If your skin stings from the lemon, wash your face before the 20 minutes are over. (This is an astringent and may be too drying for your skin)
6) Apply garlic cloth on the acne to make it heal faster.
The first thing you need to do is to wash your face gently to remove excess dirt and oils from the surface.
You will then need to warm a clean towel in warm water and apply it to your face for 3 minutes. Do the same thing with the cold water but this time for one minute.
Carry out both the warm water and cold water procedure about 3 times but always finish with cold and then pat dry with another clean towel.
Next mix a small amount of castor oil with a small amount of olive oil. A 50/50 ratio will do just fine. Apply the mixture to your skin and let it stay there for 30 minutes and then rinse with warm water. Pat dry with a clean towel and you are good to go.
