Good Skin Care Routine For Teen?

Hi. I have mild acne with a some pimples on my forehead. I have been using a Clinique soap bar every night to cleanse my face. It works fine, and seems to keep me from breaking out, but I now want one of those skin care kits that have a couple of “steps” (different bottles) because I want the acne I do have to clear up. I think my friend has a clinique one. Any suggestions?

I didn’t start to get problems with my skin until I hit 20 and it’s all gone the opposite! My prob is dry skin, not so much spots BUT I would advise you to stick wth Clinique – they do a really good range of skincare products and in my experience, it’s much better to stick to one brand line. I don’t know what your budget is – it might cost you a little, but you can get a set of a cleanser, toner, and moisturiser with them which worked for me really well. Go to your local Clinique counter and they will be able to work through some questions to figure out what skin type you are, and give you the correct 3 step programme accordingly.
I’m really lazy with my skin at the mo, but definitely definitely the best it ever was was when i took the time to do the 3 steps twice a day – once in the morning before makeup, and before bed, after taking make up off. Good luck!
The Clinique 3-step system works great..I use it twice a day and I hardly ever get a breakout anymore. If you go to clinique.com you can take a short survey about your skin and acne and your results tell you what skin type you are and what products will work best. They also have a 3-step acne system but I think that might be more for someone with bad acne. Neutrogena also has a 3-step system, I haven’t used it, but I heard that it works great and it’s around the same price as the Clinique.
