Does Anyone Else Think It’s Unfair That Guys Can’t Wear Makeup?

I’m a girl… but I have rosacea on my cheeks and a little acne- I love my makeup becuase it can make me look flawless. I think it’s so sad that guys can’t (well, they could- but probably wouldn’t be accepted socially if they did) wear makeup. They just have to go with what they’ve got… not mascara, no foundation- nothing! But maybe they don’t care. I don’t know… I just kind of think it’s sad. Guys and girls answer- what are your thoughts?

i always think this, girls can change their appearance and look a whole different person depending on the makeup they were and if they wear makeup at all. it definitely enhances your look if you wear makeup, and can even decipher whether someone is “hot” or not. Poor guys just have to rely on genetics as to whether they are “hot” or not, they get up in the morning and thats it, but those lucky guys that do look good every day without makeup, most likely look just as good when they wake up every morning!! grr haha but if guys want to wear make up.. then thats their choice but no, chances are you’re right, they wont be socially accepted in society!
this is a free country thanks to the men and women in the united states military all over the globe and people should do whatever they want except be a and vote for a republican :p
its a violation of their constitutional rights (see 1st amendment: freedom of expression)
anyways if a guy wants to wear makeup and is confident in themselves and not give a rats behind about what other people think about him doing so then he should be allowed to wear makeup, dress in womens clothing, etc…
Guys can wear make-up. Probally just not lipstick and eyeliner. Maybe stuff like mascara to help cover zits and stuff up.
umm idk… becuase i always feel that guys should be hot no matter whatttt….so if they MUST wear makeup i think i woudl be okay with it… but i wouldn’t wanna date him…

oh and all those guys with acne and stuff… all you gotta do is wash you face..
Guys CAn wear makeup. Sure they probaly wont be accepted if they were caught wearing it, but it depends on there style. Like the emo boy and stuff can wear eyeliner. And im sure men can get away with foundation to.
um i would def wanna guy without make up..no matter how bad his skin is

I completely agree here…I hate it that there is “thing” that guys can’t wear makeup or they are automatically gay. Personally, I don’t care what people think…I know who and what I am, I don’t need to listen to what others say. I have acne and the accompanying enlarged pores, blackheads, and redness, not to mention breakouts…so alone my face looks anything but flawless. If all it takes is a little bit of foundation or tinted moisturizer, a few dabs of concealer, and a dusting of powder to cover all my acne and make my face look flawless and control oil, why not? Even a little matte bronzer and clear mascara is ok. I don’t see why guys would want to wear eyshadow, eyeliner, blush, mascara, etc…but I just dont see why covering up your flaws is do girly. Get over it guys!
I have rosacea on my cheeks and chin, so I have always thought how sucky it would be to be a guy with that because you couldn’t cover it up. It’s not fair.
I also think that most guys would look hott with little makeup… you know, eyeliner and mascara and possibly foundation….
well, i think its dumb they cant.
like for school rules; my school isn’t like totatally strict but guys cant have long hair but girls can have short, girls can wear make-up guys can’t.
i think girls and guys both should have the same “rights” to wear what they wish.
and not be judged by the world.
i mean even if they are gay.

a person is a person.
We grew up in a society where people judge others due to their own choices whether it’s about their looks or personality. I’m proud of you for thinking this way because very little people goes out of their zone and express their thoughts. I do think also that guys should be able to wear makeup just as girls are. But does that mean also that we girls could wear guys stuff? I wonder.

I agree,and when guys do wear makeup people think they are weird!I think its hot,and if guys want to wear makeup they should!Especially Eyeliner<3
Some guys look hotter than girls without make up, to be honest.
I personally think that guys have nicer skin that most girls.
They really don’t need it but if they want, they can always wear manliner. Haha.
It’s not even fair that girls are expected to wear make-up. I’ve always thought that it catered to the man’s convenience not to have to look ‘flawless’.
On a more ‘politically incorrect’ note: I like my guys a little less ‘gay’.
