Can I Put Betamethasone Dipropionate On A Popped Pimple?

I have a very irritated area on my face almost 10mm in diameter, and i would like to know if i could put beta .05% cream on it. I know they say do not put it on acne vulgaris, but this pimple has already been popped and i am merely trying to reduce the redness.

    Topical steroid like Betamethasone Dipropionate is not recommended for open wounds like your “popped” pimple. Doctors usually prescribe topical or oral antibiotics for that.
