Acne All Over Face Now?

Ever since I had my baby I’ve had the face of a teen. When will the acne subside?? I had her a month ago. I am thinking about ordering ”proactiv”….does it work??

Hi – I ordered Proactiv for my teen daughter last year. She used as directed and didn’t like it – made her face extremely dry out and the acne was cleared up a little bit – really not much change.
Now, both my teens (daughter & son) are using Oxy cleansing pads #1 pharmacist recommended brand or Stridex alcohol free sensitive with aloe soft touch pads and Stridex maximum soft touch pads. They both like the products and see results!
Try Oxy or Stridex! Your hormones are going crazy. It should subside soon.
It’s all the hormones that are still racing through your body. Even though you’ve had the baby, those hormones don’t just disappear. don’t scrub at it, and don’t not wash your face. I’ve heard that Proactiv works, I haven’t used it though. Your face will get better. Make sure that you’re exercising and eating right, and that will help a lot too.

it depends. you’re probably breaking out from the hormones. proactiv might work. you can also get cheaper versions. check Benzoyl peroxide 10%.
It might take a couple of months for your hormones to get back to normal.
I agree with the others, but just wanted to tell you if you are going to use soap do not use Ivory…..Dove beauty bar is much, much, much better. Proactive works….it worked really well for my best friend and I. I was in my mid to late twenties when I used it. I’m 33 now and finally don’t have an issue. (Just thought I throw the age in there that might be a factor) It is just your hormones and yes it will subside. Drink water and eat healthy. Water, Water, Water, suck on ice whatever you have to do to get more water in your system.
use the Cetaphil regular bar soap not the anti-bacterial one.
Or try Ivory original bar soap.
Both of these should work. Pro-active is what doesn’t work…..
