As long as you have a great doctor who keeps up with how you're doing with treatment and any side effects, I think you'll be fine. At the time I was depressed because of the acne and other things. My mom heard about a kid who crashed a plane while on the drug to commit suicide so she freaked. I personally dont recall being any more depressed I was actually probably happier. I have a history of depression also. After taken it my skin cleared up nicely and havent had any major breakouts since so I would suggest you try it since you have had it so long. It definately helps.
